KL Yeam – A Passionate Accountant Turned Magazine Publisher and Photographer
KL Yeam, once an accountant, discovered his true passion for photography in 2008 when he acquired a Canon 400D DSLR camera. His love for capturing moments, especially portraits of dogs in Dog Confirmation shows, ignited a unique niche that would shape his career.Driven by his passion for photography and his affinity for pets, KL Yeam started his owned publishing house – Digital Imaging Publication, a leading to the publication of Malaysia’s first bilingual Pets Magazine, “Pets Lovers” This marked the beginning of his successful journey as both a publisher and an avid photographer.
In 2011, he acquired the publishing rights for “Digital SLR Photography” for Malaysia from the Denise Publication, UK, rapidly transforming it into Malaysia’s leading photography publication. A year later, Yeam introduced “Aperture,” the country’s first-ever Malay language Photography magazine, breaking language barriers for photography enthusiasts.
Yeam’s talent in photography has earned him recognition worldwide, winning several international photography awards and becoming a sought-after judge. He also serves as a camera and lenses reviewer, guiding and empowering aspiring photographers to achieve greater heights.His favorite genres, Portrait and Street Photography, embody his ability to capture the essence of individuals and candid moments. Inspired by photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz, Fan Ho, and Daido Moriyama, Yeam continues to leave a lasting impact on the photography world, inspiring creative dreams and fostering growth in Malaysia’s photography community.

1. Introduction
1.1 Canon Mastery Workshop – Unveiling Stories Through Canon’s Lenses is a photography event organized & managed by Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd.
1.2 Canon Mastery Workshop – Unveiling Stories Through Canon’s Lenses is open for Malaysia Canon users only.
1.3 A fee of RM 80.00 (Not Refundable) will be charged to successful registrants.
1.4 The registration is based on first-come, first-serve basis.2. Equipment
2.1 Users / participants may use Canon’s equipment on loan basis during the event. Equipment is subject to availability and the Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to refuse any loan for good reason.3. Right of Refusal
3.1 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to refuse a user / participant participation if, management reasonably considers that the participant is under the influence of drink or drugs, or is behaving in a threatening, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable manner.
3.2 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to refuse any participants to join the Canon Mastery Workshop – Unveiling Stories Through Canon’s Lenses if, the participants are unable to show prove of registration, or bring non-Canon camera and / or Canon lenses to the event mentioned above.
3.3 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right to forfeit the fee paid for no show and / or violate any terms and conditions of the event.4. Losses, Liabilities etc.
4.1 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. shall not be responsible for death, personal injury or loss or damage to property caused by owner/user/participant himself/herself during the session.
4.2 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable to an owner /user / participant for any loss or damage to property caused natural disaster.
4.3 Participants will be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury they may cause at the venue of the session and loan equipments.5. Communication.
5.1 Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the rights to cancel, terminate, advance, or defer any workshop date and changes of venue by giving prior notice to the users/participants. This will be only happening upon extraordinary circumstances such as manpower’s availability, matter of urgency, internal priority event. In this respect, the decision of Digital Imaging Publication Sdn. Bhd. and / or Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. shall be final.6. Publication
6.1 By participating in Canon Mastery Workshop – Unveiling Stories Through Canon’s Lenses, participants grant the organizer the right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and feature any or all the images in any of their publicity and/or publications, in print or electronic, and any other media for the purpose of advertising and promotion without any consideration or payment to participants.
