Chot Touch

With extensive experience in the photography industry, I had the honour of serving as a guest photo critic at Camera World Magazine from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of adjudicating numerous photography competitions in Malaysia and collaborating with renowned camera brands.

Driven by my passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring fellow photographers, I’ve conducted workshops in India, Egypt, Brunei, Singapore, and my homeland, Malaysia. Through these workshops, I’ve connected with aspiring photographers, aiding them in refine their craft.

As a founding member of Street Photography Malaysia (FJM), my mission is to promote and showcase outstanding work in this genre while providing a platform for talented yet underrepresented photographers. Today, the FJM Facebook group stands as Malaysia’s largest dedicated street photography resource, boasting over 25,000 devoted followers.

Regarding personal achievements, I’m proud to have held my inaugural solo exhibition organized by Homegrown from October 25 to November 1, 2009. The subsequent year, I had the privilege of participating in Asia Icon 3 in Singapore on May 16. Moreover, I’ve authored a photobook titled “Haluan Kiri,” launched on July 4, 2010, and my latest work, “Vibrant Essence Of Kuala Lumpur,” was published on August 1, 2023.

Acknowledging the prestige and global recognition of the GR Photo Festival, I’m humbled to have been selected as one of the judges for the 2023 edition, alongside nine other talented photographers from across the global.
